The Finnish Association
of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons
The Association was founded in the autumn of 1957 and was known as Chirurgi Plastici Fenniae to the year 2008, when it was renamed as the Finnish Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons. The number of members has grown from the seven founding members to over 130 (2012, candidate members included.)
Finnish Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons is an organization for plastic surgeons operating in Finland, combining plasticsurgeons in the fields of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. Our aim is to raise awareness of the wide field of plastic surgery, to promote innovation in teaching, learning and research and to increase overall understanding of the profession in Finland.
